Charlotte Fletcher
A sweeping rust-coloured banquette gives Charlotte Fletcher’s interior an intimate place to sit. Rounded upholstery, horizontal back panels and a metallic base create a distinctive setting around a circular table.
Project overview
Setting: An intimate dining corner.
Seating: A continuous curved banquette around a circular table.
Details to look for: Horizontal upholstered bands, rounded ends, defined panel joins and a metallic plinth.
The rust-coloured upholstery makes the seating a focal point. Its curved back and rounded seat edges echo the table’s shape, giving the corner a clear outline while softening the meeting of furniture and room.

The finished space
Horizontal upholstered bands follow the curve of the backrest, with vertical joins dividing the sweep into carefully defined sections. The rounded seat edges echo the shape above, and the metallic plinth provides a crisp line at floor level.
The finished seating makes the table a natural focal point. Its combination of colour, texture and curved form gives this compact corner a strong identity.
